From a Surprise Proposal to a Growing Family | Marco Island Family Photographer
Five years ago, I had the absolute joy of photographing Shane's surprise proposal to Stephanie right here on beautiful Marco Island, Florida. It was one of those unforgettable moments filled with excitement, happy tears, and so much love. Little did I know that five years later, I'd have the opportunity to photograph another beautiful chapter in their story!
When Stephanie and Shane reached out to schedule a Marco Island family photography session, I couldn't have been more excited. There's something incredibly special about watching a couple's love story grow into a family and being invited back to capture those memories along the way.
From Engagement Photos to Family Photography on Marco Island
One of my favorite things about being a Marco Island family photographer is building relationships with the families I photograph. While I absolutely love meeting new families visiting Southwest Florida, there's something extra meaningful about welcoming familiar faces back in front of my camera.
I first met Stephanie and Shane during one of the biggest moments of their lives. This time, instead of capturing the beginning of their engagement, I was photographing the beautiful family they've created together.
And honestly? That's one of the things I love most about photography. The moments change, the families grow, but the memories become even more meaningful with time.
Capturing Beautiful Family Memories on Marco Island
Marco Island is such a special place for family photography. Between the beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, soft white sand, warm Florida sunshine, and breathtaking sunsets, it's easy to see why so many families choose this little piece of paradise for their photos.
But for me, beautiful family pictures are about so much more than the location.
